Talking about I Need U – BTS

Hello friends! 🙂

After my Favorite K-pop Songs of 2014 post (which was very, very late hehe oops) I am back with a new Talking about! Finally! 😀 So glad to have the time and freedom to finally post again! After my 9 month break, I’ve missed  lot of good songs, and a lot of good songs as well, but I’ll be talking about a (fairly) recent song, and that is I Need U by BTS! Check out the music video here! I’ve talked about BTS before in a few other posts so check those out if you want to know a little bit more about my opinion. 🙂 Let’s get right into talking about this one!

Song: AWESOME. This song is fantastic and I loved it the first time I heard it. 🙂 As of now, this song is definitely my favorite, if not one of my favorites, out of all BTS songs. I mean it! 😀 I am really enjoying this song! From my previous experience with BTS (which I’m sure many of you probably are more familiar with), the style of this song doesn’t necessarily fit that of their other songs. Regardless, I think the sound is unique, the vocals are great, the rapping is awesome, and all of this culminates into an amazing song! 🙂 I really do recommend this song if you haven’t heard it already. It exceeded my expectations and has been a crucial part of my iTunes playlist. 😉 The fact that it’s super catchy also explains why I’ve been listening to it so often. Let me know if you agree with me, and if you love the song as much as I do. 😀

Music Video: First impression I had of it was that it looks really cool! I like how it doesn’t use the closed boxes and unusual rooms that most K-pop videos use (although I have been noticing that more and more of them are steering away from this.) It just looks really cool, and they look really good might I add haha. Another interesting thing I noticed about this music video is that there isn’t any dancing in the video, which is again not very common. The video flaunts a very cinematic look to it and this makes it different from the other videos. Not 100% positive about the storyline, although I do get a general sense of what it is. Overall, super cool locations, awesome looking shots, and great looking people. 😉 I really like the mood the video is setting and the look it’s sporting!

LOVE the song, and the video is great! 🙂 Also (in a little extra information), I am LOVING their new album 화양연화! It’s sooo good! Although I really like the title track, the others are just as awesome and catchy. 🙂 If you liked the song, you should definitely give a listen to the album as well. I was happily surprised by this new album BTS released, and it makes me look forward to the songs they’ll release in the future. I’m curious to know what you guys thought of it! BTS fans, let me know what you guys think! A music video for Dope was also released recently, so I’ll talk about it quickly here instead of writing a whole new post. The song is awesome! I love the jazzy feel it has, as well as how groovy it is. I also think that the choreography is pretty dope 🙂 Great songs, performance, and album from a great group!

I’ll be back with a new post soon, but until then, hugs from your fellow k-popper! ❤

Talking about Just One Day – BTS

Hi guys!

Happy (not really) Monday! Today I am back with another post on Just One Day by BTS. Like always, you can click here to check it out. No rambling introduction today (because I don’t really know what to talk about) so let’s get started right away! 🙂

BTS (aka Bangtan Boys) is a 7 member group formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The members consist of Jin, Suga, Rap Monster, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They debuted in 2013.

Song: It wasn’t really the song that I was expecting, especially after the tough guy impression I got from Boys in Luv, but as I’ve said countless times, that doesn’t matter at all because it was a really nice song! I loved the rapper’s voices – they are all super deep and charming hehe, and of course the vocals as well! I thought their strong vocals were much more evident in this song. It’s pretty cute :3 (let’s be honest) and the song makes me smile haha. It sounds very nice because of its more laid back, relaxed vibe, ja feel? I know, I know, I’m terrible at explaining, but I liked how they balanced out their more upbeat, strong beat song, their previous release Boys in Luv, with this more cute, relaxed song that showcases their vocals more. I really liked it! 🙂

Music Video: I must say, a very simple music video, but not to say that it wasn’t good. 😛 I mean, there isn’t really much to talk about since it’s one of those music videos of them dancing, but I did like the shadows, especially the clock one, that was on the wall. One thing I really do want to talk about was the dance. It wasn’t very over the top or super flashy or anything, but appropriate to the song. It was very creative and there were a lot of moments I liked. First off, I really enjoyed the “head wave” thing (what? haha do you guys even understand? Again, I apologize for my terrible descriptions) that starts at about 1:29. Really cool! Also, I like the hand thing they do at the chorus part, and overall lots of little neat moves in the choreography. I can understand how fans are dying at this video because they are pretty darn cute in it. Cool choreography and a fun video, although simple, to watch as a result. 😀

What did you guys think about this? Did you guys like or dislike it? Please let me know in the comments! I hope you all start the week on a positive note, and I hope you enjoyed this rather short post! 🙂

Hugs from your fellow K-Popper! ❤
