Talking about Last Romeo – Infinite

Hey everyone!

Welcome back to It’s Time to K-Pop! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted (5 days actually, which seems like a long time for me haha) but I was very busy last week and will be as busy, if not more, this week (and a little bit of next week too) 😦 I’m really sorry about that, but I have exams and it’ll be difficult for me to post. Either way, I’ll try my best and I will keep you guys updated! Today’s Talking about is on a release that I was meaning to mention earlier, but have only gotten to doing it now. This release is Last Romeo by Infinite! I know that many fans were really looking forward to it, and now that it’s finally here, let’s talk about it!

Infinite is a 7 member group under Woolim Entertainment and it was formed in 2010. The members consist of Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong.

Song: To me, this song has a jazzy feel to it, and it has a very fresh sound to it. I think the instrumentation is what really makes me feel this way, especially the guitar parts which are pretty awesome. I thought that introduction part was supposed to be part of the song, but I really liked it 😛 haha I totally think it could be a whole separate song. But anyways, their voices are really powerful and go well with the strong background sounds. I wasn’t really liking it much when I first listened to it, but that changed after a few listens (which is something that happens to me often. Does anyone agree with me? :D). I would have to say that the chorus is my favorite part out of the whole song! I’ll be really honest though (hehe). Although I do like the song and it is unique, and different from other songs I’ve listened to,  especially in regards to K-pop, I don’t completely love it and this is solely because it’s not my usual interests in song, not because it’s a terrible song or anything (because it clearly isn’t! :D)

Music Video: The music video was interesting, especially because of all the sets and props, like the book shelves and the aesthetically intriguing rooms they were in. The book explosion scene (you guys know what I’m talking about right?), along with the floating scene, are my favorites haha! There were a lot of cool moments and details in the video and made the video fun to watch, and it looked really cool overall. One thing I have to say, though, which isn’t really relevant to the video is that I loved Hoya’s blue hair haha it’s such a pretty color. 🙂 I’m a little bit confused about the plot to be honest :S but let me know what you guys thought of it!

Overall, I like the song and video! I don’t think I would download the song, but as I’ve mentioned earlier, that’s mostly because the song doesn’t really fit my preferences. What did you guys think? Are there an Inspirits out there? Let me know in the comments! Make sure to check out their comeback performance if you haven’t! Have a great Sunday, and I’ll see you guys soon, I promise. 🙂

Talking about My Old Story – IU

Hi guys!

I’m back with another post and that happens to be IU’s My Old Story! Yes, I know it has been quite a while since it was released (Actually, almost a week now which seems a little long for me), and although she has already released another music video, I really wanted to talk about this one so here it (finally) is! 😀 There are a lot of releases happening the rest of this month (and probably for June), and I’m not keeping up with them as consistently as I would like to, but I’ve been a little bit busier than usual. Sorry about that! :S Enough of that, though, let’s talk about IU!

Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners! I was thinking of not uploading an image because of copyright issues, but it looks a bit plain without it, so here it goes anyways :D

IU debuted in 2008, and is currently part of LOEN Entertainment. (That’s all I really know to put here, so yeah I apologize for the short introduction) 😛

Song:  First off, let me give some context before I really get into the song. This Talking about is a little different from the other ones I’ve done because My Old Story is a remake of this song from the 1980’s. I’m not including the link to cause for negative comparisons and bashing, but rather to understand where this song comes from.  That being said, I wanted to start off this section by saying that I really liked both versions, but since the focus of today’s post is obviously IU, I’ll be (almost) exclusively talking about her remake. Now, as for the song, I really enjoyed it and I’m amazed, yet again, by IU’s voice. I actually had goosebumps the first few times I listened to it because her voice is just that amazing. It’s so very soothing and pleasing to listen to. Another thing I really loved is the piano part in the beginning, as well as the clicking noises (I guess this technically isn’t part of the song but I’ll include it here anyway :D). The song overall has a very nostalgic, sentimental feeling to it that I usually like, and I feel she does a great job of conveying this. It’s so beautiful and I really can’t put to words the feeling it gives me, but let’s just say that I am amazed by IU and her talent. 🙂

Music Video: I really loved the atmosphere of this video, and it’s so fitting to the video. What I understood was that she was looking through past memories she had with her ex-lover, and reminiscing about them. As I’ve mentioned in the previous part, I really loved the slideshow clicking thing (Wow look at my sophisticated vocabulary :p) because it adds a certain nostalgic, close-to-heart sentiment (Am I the only one who feels that? I’ve seen it a lot in movies so… :P). I liked the set of the video and overall, I think that it was interesting to watch, in its own unique way, and had positive things to offer to the beautiful song.  🙂

Overall, I really loved the song and the music video was great too! I would definitely download this song and listen to it on a cold or rainy day, but I mean it’d be great on any other day too :P. What do you guys think? Let me  know in the comments! As always, thanks for reading, and I’ll try to be more frequent in my posting! I’ll definitely get back to posting (much) more by June. 😀

Talking about Too-G – BTL

Hi guys! It’s time for another Talking about, and today’s post will be on the new debut release by BTL, called Too-G! There has been a flood of music videos lately and I’m not keeping up as consistently as I would want to be with those, so I apologize about that and I’ll try to mention as many of them as I can! 😀 I’m trying to go by chronological order and BTL was next on my list (hence, why I’m talking about them now!) I wanted to mention them, despite the fact that I’m not too familiar with them, because I want to see from what point they’ve started, and to what point they progressed later (Is that weird?). Okay, done with the rambling, let’s get to it!

BTL (aka Beyond The Limit) is a group under Kiroy Entertainment with 9 members, which are Jisu, Yua, Robin, Jean Paul, Max, Jay, QL, Doka, and Allen. I couldn’t really find much information about them, as it has been only a few days since this release, so comment if you have anything to add! 🙂

I said I’d be done with the rambling, but I actually do have some other things to talk about, hehe. 🙂 I was reading the comments of the music video (as I tend to do, because I like reading other people’s opinions) and I noticed that there was a lot of disagreement, fighting, varied opinions, and comparisons with other groups going on. I hope my opinions don’t offend anyone, as these are obviously not my intentions, and that we can, instead of fighting, discuss it together 😀 Haha, but anyways, now let’s go to talking about the song!

Song: At first, I wasn’t really sure of my opinions about it and I didn’t really know if I liked it or not, but by the second listen I definitely began to appreciate it more. There is an overall very powerful, strong style to it and I guess this was a little difficult for me to approach at first. What really amazed me, however, was how powerful and amazing their vocals were, especially in the (very) high notes, not to mention that their voices weren’t overpowered by the loud, strong instrumentation. It has a slightly catchy chorus, and overall it’s a very interesting song! One little detail that I dislike is the rap part that comes in 2:28, not because it’s not cool, (I actually do like it as a part by itself), but I just don’t think it’s fitting to the powerfulness the song was building up before, or just the melody itself, but that’s only my opinion. It’s a cool song and their singing was definitely the highlight for me. What did you guys think? Let me know!

Music Video: The music video… is a slightly different story. 😛 The first thing I noticed (just because it was in the beginning) was the crow, and as the video went on, the CGI became very apparent to me. Of course, I’m not an expert in this area by any means, but by my opinion, it looked not as natural as it maybe could’ve been, especially for the running scenes. Also, the lens flares, among other effects, like filters or the blur, were a little bit distracting and kept my focus away from the members or what was happening. On the other hand, their dancing was pretty cool (although obviously I couldn’t see all of it) so I will be looking forward to that in their live performances! In general, it was an okay video. 😛

Overall, I liked the song and the music video was meh, in my opinion. Would I download the song? Maybe 😛 Bot because it’s bad, but because I don’t know if I’d actually listen to it if I were to. I will look forward to their live performances, and I’m hoping that in the future, they will release beautiful, emotional songs that will be able to showcase their great voices. 🙂 Anyways, thank you so much for reading and I’ll try my best to talk about as many of the recent releases as I can! Can you guess who’s release will be next? 🙂

Talking about Good-night Kiss – Jun Hyoseong

Hey everyone! 🙂 Welcome back to It’s Time to K-pop! As I’ve mentioned yesterday, there were a few releases that overlapped with each other, and since the post a few days ago was devoted to Wheesung, I decided to talk about Hyoseong next. 🙂 The release for today is Good-night Kiss by Jun Hyoseong from Secret! By the way, I have a lot of little updates about K-Pop in general (things that I see are worth mentioning), so make sure to read until the end! 😀 Okay, with that little introduction done (feels good to have an intro after not having one for a while, hehe), let’s get started! Jun Hyoseong is part of the group Secret, and is currently under TS Entertainment. She debuted with the group in 2009, and this is her first release as a solo artist (…right? :o)

Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!
Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!

Song: Well, this wasn’t really what I was expecting (not quite sure what I was expecting to be honest, but at first it was something cutesy, but that totally changed when I saw the teaser pictures) but I really like it! It’s so very catchy and the chorus is awesome! I have no idea what they’re saying in the beginning, but I still think it’s awesome anyway, and I’m really liking the song overall! At the end, I couldn’t help but think how amazing an acoustic version of this song would be! 😮 I can’t be the only one thinking this, right? 😛 Haha, but one thing that does make this song really cool and addicting is how there’s a mix and match of different music styles, and the great thing is that it actually really works well! Some parts made me want to dance along, and some parts made me want to sing along hehe 😛 There’s also a lot of interesting details in the song which I thought added to this mix and match I was talking about. I’m very much impressed with this and I’m very much enjoying it. 🙂

Music Video: I think there is some type of plot to the video, but unfortunately, I’m really confused and am not sure about what’s going on in the video. I read through some of the comments that said the same thing, so I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one! There was a mixture between dancing, body rubbing, and the scenes with the guys, and I couldn’t fully grasp what the point of the plot was, so tell me in the comments if you know! I will say this though, and my oh my, Hyoseong is gorgeous! Yes, I’ve seen her promotions with Secret, but I’ve never seen such a revealing, sexy, bold concept as the one she had for this music video. I guess this was a cool video to watch, but I didn’t think it was phenomenal or anything like that, but of course, this is just my personal opinion! One thing I loved, though, is the baby cradling gesture (That is what it’s supposed to be, right?) at the “잘자요 우리 애기” part haha. Another thing I enjoyed was the sets or locations she was at overall! Super pretty hehe 🙂 The choreography for this song was definitely a highlight of this video. :3 Overall, summarizing, I thought the video was quite pretty, but I was slightly confused plot-wise. 😛

Awesome song and pretty video! 🙂 What do you guys think? Make sure to leave me a comment! Would I download the song? Oh yeah, for sure! 🙂

Now that I’ve talked about Hyoseong, it’s time to talk about the K-Pop updates I mentioned earlier on in the post! 🙂 I see that a lot of you that come to my blog have been curious about Sam Kim, and I just want to let you know that Sam Kim and Kwon Jin Ah are signed with Antenna Music according to Soompi! If this is true, I’m very happy for them and I can’t wait for their debut! 😀

Next, I wanted to mention that I listened to Exo’s mini album and I can say I’m pretty impressed by it! You should definitely give it a listen if you haven’t already! 🙂 It is worth it! I don’t know which song is my favorite yet, but I’ll let you guys know if I decide on one. 😀

And finally, my last update for today is that I’m still obsessed with Wheesung’s Night and Day. I’ve been listening it on replay for the past 2 days. Go check out my Talking about on it if you haven’t already!

Anyways, thanks for reading this rambling, long post (I had quite a lot of K-Pop related news to talk about hehe) and I’ll see you guys in my next post! Leave me any comments about anything I’ve mentioned! 🙂 If you’ve read this far, I love you ❤ and you should definitely let me know in the comments that you did! 😀 I know I’ve been doing a lot of Talking about’s in a row, but that’s because there are lots of comebacks happening! 😀 I’ll try to get back to posting other ‘segments’ as well!

Hugs from your fellow K-Popper! 🙂

Talking about Night and Day – Wheesung

Hey guys! 🙂

I’m back with another post, and I’m actually quite excited to talk to you guys about this one! I know that there were at least 3 big music video releases today (or yesterday in Korea I guess), and I was contemplating which one I should do, but this one was definitely my first choice once I watched it. This release is Wheesung’s Night and Day! I will probably talk about the others eventually too, but this one will be the first! 🙂

Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!

Wheesung is an R&B singer that debuted in 1999 (woah! :O he’s been in the industry for a while now!). He is part of YMC Entertainment since 2011. I actually have been wanting to talk about some of his songs for a while, so stay tuned for those in future posts!

Song: I am very much in love with this song! His voice is phenomenal, and it truly is one of the greatest ones in the K-pop scene right now, in my opinion. His talent amazes me every single time I listen to his songs. 🙂 Does the beginning of the song sound a little bit like country music to anyone else? Yes… no? Okay, never mind then… This song is both beautiful and catchy – what more could you ask? I am so obsessed with this song; it really is a hidden gem (heh). His singing, the melody, and the instrumentation are just so amazing. I’m so impressed! I love every little detail about it! The lyrics are really nice too 🙂 You know when a song is so awesome that you don’t know how to explain it? Yeah, well this song is like that for me, and I am so very glad to have heard it. Sorry for the really vague descriptions; I can’t quite explain the effect it has on me, but the feels man. :’) If you haven’t heard any other Wheesung’s songs and you’re contemplating whether or not you should listen to it, you (hopefully) won’t be disappointed, so give it a try. I’ve seen a few comments of people that weren’t too impressed with the song, so I’m very curious to know what you guys think!

Music Video: Okay, so the song is pretty freaking awesome, but what about the video? Well, isn’t it a relief that the video is great too? 😀 The first thing I have to say, though, is that C.A.P (from Teen Top) is pretty cute, so that’s a plus. Haha, just kidding! (not about the part that C.A.P is cute though :P) Music videos for sad R&B songs can usually be boring, or not really offer much to enhance the song, but this wasn’t like that at all! The video was actually really interesting (I was captivated by it during the whole time), and I loved the sequence of the events and how it transitioned, like the “zoom and slow-mo”, and change of locations/situations with the camera turns (Do those even make sense to you guys? Haha). It was pretty cool! 😀 I also liked the set when Wheesung was in the “night” and “day” scenes, and how it cut quickly from one to the other was really interesting too. I’ve seen a lot of different interpretations on the music video, so I thought, why not share mine? 😛 What I think is happening in this video is that C.A.P (does the C stand for cute? :3) and Yura are ex-lovers, and they meet again as ‘friends’, but he sees that she has a ring on which insinuates that she already has a boyfriend. When Yura leaves, he rethinks their past together and how he let go of her once already, and he stands up dramatically to hold her again (like in K-dramas haha :P) so that he doesn’t have to lose her once more. What do you guys think the storyline is? Conclusion: really intriguing video to watch that had a lot to offer to the song.

Overall, I really loved both the music video and the song! 🙂 Although I thoroughly enjoyed the song (I hope I made that clear amidst all my rambling and failure at explaining the song), the music video made it even better, which I didn’t know was possible :P. You go Wheesung, I’m very impressed in you. I’m really curious to see how he’ll perform on live, and I’ll definitely be looking forward to it. Would I download the song? Definitely! In fact, I should do that now… But anyways, hope you guys enjoyed this post and please let me know your opinions as well! 🙂 Thanks so much for reading!

Hugs from your fellow K-Popper! ❤

Talking about Want U – JungGiGo

Hey friends! 🙂

I’m here today to talk about JungGiGo’s Want U, which was released yesterday! 😀 It always feels when I’m doing an introduction because they used to ramble a lot, but now I don’t know what to say here, but I still feel like I need some sort of an introduction, so what do you guys think about the posts? Are you excited for the many comebacks to happen soon? Let me know!

Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!
Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!

JungGiGo is an artist under Starship Entertainment, and he debuted in 2008. He was born on September 5th, 1980 which surprised me because he’s 34 years old! :O I swear he doesn’t look like this! But anyways, many of you might know him already from his collaboration with Soyou from Sistar (called Some, which I’ve mentioned in a few other posts), but today’s post will talk about his new song!

Song: First thing that stood out from the song was JungGiGo’s amazingly soothing voice! I noticed this already in Some (and I didn’t really know him before that, hehe), but his voice is so very smooth and I love this about this trait about the song as well. I don’t know if you guys have picked up on my music taste already, but this is definitely the type of song I like. Seriously though, his singing is so nice and I can’t get enough of it!  I really like the instrumentation, and most particularly the guitar riffs. This is a groovy song that I personally did enjoy! Beenzino’s rap is awesome once again, and the two went well together! I feel like this is one of those songs that will grow on me until I’m addicted (like Some was) and I am slowly liking it progressively more as I listen to it more. It’s definitely not the overpowering or super upbeat, loud type of song, so keep that in mind too!

Music Video: As for the music video, I don’t really have much to say because it was relatively simplistic (not to say that that is a bad thing, but just provides for less things to talk about I would say). That being said, I did like the dramatic lighting and fairly simple set. I mean, it’s probably not the most interesting video you’ve watched (certainly not the case for me either), but I think it works well with the song in general and particularly its grooviness. That’s pretty much all I have to say about the video! 😛

Overall, it was a nice song and okay video! 🙂 Would I download the song? Yep! 😀 What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments! I’m really sorry this post is so short (I guess I didn’t have as much rambling as I always do). 😛 I hope you had a great Friday and I’ll see you guys in my next post!

Hugs from your fellow K-Popper! 🙂

Talking about Overdose – Exo-K

Hey guys!

How have you all been? In case you missed the news, Exo released their (highly anticipated) comeback Overdose today! Today I’ll be talking about the Exo-K version, instead of the Exo-M version, but you can check out the latter here! What did I think about this new release? Keep reading to find out!

Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!

Exo is a group formed under SM Entertainment with 12 members, and they released their debut single in 2012. They are divided into the subunits Exo-K and Exo-M. The members consist of Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, Xiumin, Luhan, Kris, Lay, Chen, and Tao.

A little disclaimer before I get into the actual talking: I know how big Exo is and how many fans they have, so I just wanted to make it clear that all these opinions in this post (emphasis on the word opinions) are my own, and my intentions are not to offend or hate on anyone with this post, or any of my other ones! Please don’t take my opinions too seriously, and don’t be upset at anything I say! 🙂 I’m a bit worried that I’m talking about this release pretty early on, but I hope you guys understand! ❤ Okay, now that I got that out of the way, let’s actually get started!

Song: What an awesome song! The first impression I got was that it’s powerful, and very detailed! (Does that make sense? :P) I don’t really know the right words to describe it, so I’ll try my best to be as eloquent as possible. I will say this though – they had a lot of little cool details and sounds that they incorporated in the song, and although I initially thought these things would overpower their singing, this didn’t happen at all, which amazed me! Their singing was awesome and the song is super catchy! I really like the chorus part especially, and I couldn’t help but want to sing along (or hum really) as well. I don’t think this is the right expression, but they have this strong, full sound that I personally really like. It’s the type of the song that had a lasting impact and was memorable to me. Not going to say much more, but it’s great and I love it!

Music Video: As for the music video, I’ll say that it was, in general, pretty cool! SM loves their large, oddly lighted rooms, but it was interesting to watch because it was really dramatic, yet captivating, and this is true especially for the dances. Speaking of their choreography, it was so creative and pretty epic in general! I loved so many things about it, like the drumming on the head as an example, and they were so well synchronized with each other! I mentioned Exo’s dance already in another post (Top 5 Dances one), and while I was already impressed with them then, I am even more so now! I can’t wait to see the live performances! Okay, getting back to the subject of the video, I was mesmerized by their dancing, and how precise, yet in sync, and fitting the dance moves were with the song. It made the video really entertaining to watch, and it kept me enticed during the whole duration of the video! I do have a few things I disliked and they are minor considering the video in a larger scheme, but I thought I’d mention it anyways. The first thing is the zooming (or warping, I can’t really tell) effect that happens often in the video, usually coordinated with their movement. At first, it didn’t bother me much, but as it got repetitive, it, personally, annoyed me, especially because it kind of threw me off, and disrupted my focus on the super cool dance routine. 😛 Another thing was the (overly) flashy lights that, similar to what I said about the other effect, were quite distracting. Other than that though, I loved the pass off of the camera (as I noted in the Growl dance practice video as well), and I was really impressed overall!

In general, I loved the song, and the video was cool, not to mention that the dance was epic! Would I download the song? You bet I will! 😉 What did you think? I know how eager everyone was about this video, so I want to know your opinion as well! Hope you enjoyed this post! 🙂

Talking about Give Love – Akmu

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome back to It’s Time to K-Pop! I feel like I haven’t done a Talking about in a while, but I’m back with another one on a new release by Akmu, called Give Love! I know I’ve been talking a lot about Akmu these past few weeks or so, and I apologize, but this is another awesome song and music video that I really want to talk about! Anyways, let’s get started!

Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!
Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!

You guys are probably really sick of the redundant introduction on Akmu, since I’ve done it quite a few times now, so I’ll go straight to talking about the song and music video!

Song: As you guys might know, I’ve already downloaded their album (hehe) and listened to this specific song a few times, and I absolutely love it! It’s so sweet, happy, bubbly, and catchy! 😀 (never too many adjectives!) Great voices and singing! This is definitely a fun song I’ll keep on repeat these days (or weeks.. or month…hehe) I love the instrumentation,  and the lyrics are so so cute. This song gets a huge thumbs up from me! Definitely something right up my alley. 🙂 I don’t think there’s a lot more to say about this other than that I really enjoyed it!

Music Video: I know I’ve rambled about how much I love the song, but I’m pretty sure that’s going to be the same for the music video because I loved it just as much! It’s a continuation from their other M/V for 200% (clever huh) so it might not be the same effect if you don’t watch it first. Not only was it appropriate to the song, but it was also lots of fun to watch! The music video was super interesting, with all the really pretty shots, the cool effects like the origami tutorials, the Pythagorean Theorem (why was that there? :S) and all this other stuff. I saw the “Tear Here” line on the screen, and I was slightly confused, but I thought it was so clever when I saw what it was about at the end. I loved the beginning of the video where Soohyun is with the (cute) actor and Chanhyuk just gets in the way, haha! 🙂 Other than that, there are lots of hilarious, goofy moments that were more entertaining to watch mainly because it looked so natural, not forced, and the fact that they are siblings probably helps in this haha. They were so playful and at ease that it made me appreciate this video even more, especially considering how much it had to offer to the song. I was quite happy that it worked out well for Soohyun 😉 Oh yeah and the ending is absolutely hilarious haha! It was a creative, interesting, and I loved it!

Overall, in case it wasn’t obvious enough in my constant rambling, I absolutely loved both the music video and the song! If I hadn’t downloaded the song already, I definitely would now! 🙂 I’ve recently been very impressed with Akmu, not only with their music videos, but also with their music style, singing, and just overall talent! With the releases they’ve had until now, and the album that I’ve listened to, I can say that I’m very much liking Akmu! What do you think? Do you agree with me? Please let me know in the comments!

Songs of the Month: April

Hey guys! 🙂

Welcome back to It’s Time to K-pop! I didn’t even realize the month had ended already! 😮 Just like what I said for March, April already went by so quickly. Now that the month is over (and a hectic week, I must add :P) I’m back with a Songs of the Month, so let’s get started! P.S. I’m quite proud of myself because I kept note of all the songs I liked hehe, so I probably didn’t forget as many songs as I did for March! :3

Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!
Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!

Sometimes – Crush: Pretty sure I didn’t do a Talking About on this song, but it’s a really awesome nonetheless. Definitely give it a listen if you haven’t already! 😀

Hold Me Tight – Loco:  This has to be one of my favorites even out of this list (one of my favorites out of this list of favorites haha :P)! I don’t know if they are releasing a music video or not, but I had to include it here anyways because it’s just that good! I’ve been a little more than obsessed with this song this past month.

Love Game – 2BIC: Such a cute, sweet song and video! They’re amazing singers and I love their voices.

Victorious 2 – Swings: This is freaking awesome. Enough said. Haha, no but to be more specific, I loved the rapping, the chorus, the video all in one take (except for the filter :S), and just the song in general! I realized I’ve included a lot of hip hop songs this month, but what I can I say, there were a lot of great ones! :3

The Manual – Eddy Kim: A minimalistic, simple song, with only Eddy’s voice and the guitar, but it’s so pretty and they work great together. The lyrics are so nice too! Eddy Kim released 3 (I believe) music videos other than this one so go check those out if you enjoyed this!

Thank You My Love – Hong Dae Kwang: This song is so adorable! It makes me smile, even just by listening to it hehe! So very sweet! If you need a song that will make you feel better, this is the song for you!

Dduraeyo – Baechigi: No translation for the title, I know, but I’m going with what it says on the music video! 😛 What really made me like this song was the voices of the singers. I don’t know why, but something about them makes me want to listen to it again. I guess you could say their voices are enticing 🙂 The chorus is my favorite part!

Clear Day Cloudy Day – Lunafly: Yes, I know this song is over a year old, but I just came across it now (a little late right)! I absolutely love it! Their voices are amazing and I love the instrumentation in this song. It’s great, no matter how old it is. 🙂

Stupid Love – Mad Clown & Soyou: Speaking of old songs, Stupid Love takes its place as a favorite song of mine for April! It’s such a beautiful song, and their voices fit so well together. Soyou’s voice in particular is so nice and I can’t really explain the allure it has, but I love it! Awesome song!

By the way, if you guys remember my Talking About on Chisa Bounce by M.I.B, you know how much I really liked it! I did a little bit of additional ‘researching’ on the group and here are two of my favorite songs that I’ve found!

Let’s Talk About You – M.I.B Only Hard For Me – M.I.B: Two super catchy songs that I hope you enjoy as much as I did! 🙂

There were many other amazing songs that I’ve included in my Talking About series that are definitely worth mentioning here as well! I elaborated a little more about them on my blog, so give it a read if you’re interested!

200% – Akmu; Melted – Akmu; Chisa Bounce – M.I.B (I’ve mentioned this song so many times, and I don’t know why I love it so much, but I do :3); Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms – High4 & IU, among others!

What do you think? What other songs do you think should be included here? Please let me know of any others that you think are worth mentioning! Thanks so much for checking out my blog! I really do appreciate it! 🙂 May May be fantastic for you (heh get it)

Talking about Phone – 100%

Hello everyone!

I’m back with another post! I’ve been really stressed this week, so hopefully writing this post and talking to you guys will make me feel better! 🙂 Today’s post is a Talking about, which I haven’t done in a while, on 100%’s new release called Phone! Click here to watch it. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this release is to finish off their promotions of Beat! What are my opinions? Keep reading to find out!

A picture of all 7 members! Image taken from All rights go to the respective owners!

100% is a group under TOP Media, and although they originally had 7 members, Sanghoon and Minwoo have left the group for the promotions of Beat. They currently are promoting as a 5 member group with Rokhyun, Chanyong, Changbum, Hyukjin, and Jonghwan. They debuted in 2012.

Song: Very different from their other song, Beat (which you can check out here!). Speaking of Beat, I actually have a little story to tell you guys really quickly, heh. I was watching their live performance of this song (here’s one) and I was very  impressed, mostly because their vocals were great even while they were doing those intense dance moves (I felt tired for them watching them dance haha! :P). Anyways, the point of this seemingly irrelevant story was to say that I actually think their voices are very charming, and their singing is great, which is more than evident in the song Phone. Because it’s a ballad style, slow song, the instrumentation was much simpler than their previous song and I feel like I focused more on their voices, which again did impress me. 🙂 The song is very pretty, and if you do like ballad songs, you should definitely check it out! This song showed another side of 100%’s music style and personally, the highlight was definitely their great singing. 🙂

Music Video: Well…. It’s kind of hard to talk about this music video because it only consists of behind the scene clips, really.. hehe… But I mean, if you’re a fan, you’ll probably really enjoy the video haha! 😉

Overall, pretty song and a cute (I guess, is this the appropriate word?) video! Would I download the song? Hm… Not really, and this is because I just don’t like this style of ballad songs. :3 It’s not my cup of tea. What are your opinions on it? Let me know in the comments! Thanks so much for reading! 🙂
